Content is as per the latest syllabus of GATE (CE) 2016.
The book acts as a complete reference covering fundamental aspects of theory before proceeding to relevant questions. Though the book presumes basic understanding of fundamental concepts in Civil engineering, theoretical and numerical concepts in the book are meticulously designed to enhance knowledge and offer valuable insights into critical aspects of the chapters. The book is structured in an easy to read format with theory and solved examples designed to demonstrate the diversity of applications.
The book is divided into various sections and sub-sections offering content that is self-sufficient and requires little to no cross-referencing.
